Panattoni Development Company was contracted by CalSTRS to provide development management services for their new headquarters building located along the west bank of the Sacramento River in West Sacramento, California. This building, which is currently under construction, is 14 levels of typical office floors above a lobby and parking podium. This structure will be slightly over 400,000 square feet. A typical office floor will be about 24,000 square feet. Offices are situated over a parking structure with a capacity for more than 1,100 cars on five levels. There will also be an adjacent surface parked lot. The total building height is approximately 300’.
Owner amenities within the building include an employee training facility, a boardroom, a café, and a fitness facility. This project is anticipated to receive LEED NC Gold Certification upon completion.
CalSTRS is scheduled to occupy this building in June of 2009.
