Warsaw - Panattoni Europe has informed about start of construction works for another warehouse in one of the biggest logistics parks in Poland. The new building will cover 28,500 sqm.
Development of the Park in Myslowice
Regardless of the hard situation in industrial estate market, Panattoni keeps expanding. In March the developer is starting to build Hall F of 28,500 sqm, in one of the biggest logistics parks in Poland, Panattoni Park Myslowice. The date of release is planned for the 3rd quarter of 2009 r.
The demand for industrial property in Silesia Region is on the grow. In response to this market trend the developer in the near few months is going to offer about 100,000 sqm of modern office and warehouse space in this area. So far Panattoni released in Myslowice the first hall of 20,000 sqm – all of it rented by ND Logistics. The present phase of construction works covers 3 more buildings: Hall D of 23,117 sqm, Hall C of 22,256 sqm and Hall G – 33,415 sqm. Hall F, with its 28,500 sqm, will be the fifth building in the new center. There are also plans to build the sixth building of 51,000 sqm. Upon completion of all works Panattoni Park Myslowice shall arise as one of the biggest logistics parks in Poland: 190,500 sqm of total space.
Beneficial location
The Park of Myslowice is a flagship investment of Panattoni Europe. Companies and businesses from all of Poland can benefit from a great location and well-developed infrastructure of the region. It is an ideal spot for setting up a distribution center servicing both the Polish and European markets, with vast resources of highly qualified labor force. The Panattoni tenants appreciate the proximity of A4 highway running through Myslowice and express route S1, as well as a close distance – only 30 km away - from Pyrzowice international airport. The location enables good access to Warsaw, Cracow, Bielsko, Cieszyn and other Polish and European cities.
Panattoni in Silesia
Upper Silesia has been the key industrial region in the south of Poland, and a huge consumers market (within a radius of 100 km from the Silesian agglomeration there are over 6 million inhabitants) as well as a good resource of qualified work force. Due to the proximity of the Czech Republic and Slovakia the region is also a great location for logistic centers servicing Central Europe and international logistics operators. Panattoni is all for Silesia: apart from the expansion of the Myslowice Park, the developer has been building new logistics centers in Gliwice and Czeladz. Only last year the developer rented over 75,000 sqm of warehouse and office space in the area.
