Prague, Czech Rep. - Panattoni Europe, one of the leading developers of industrial space in Europe has informed about the expansion of its tenants at Panattoni Park Prague Airport. Ceva Logistics decided to extend its warehouse space by 6,000 sqm which made the company the sole tenant of the hall room of 14,800 sqm. In the second building Great United Trading has joined Cechofracht. Both completed estates have been all rented out.
New Tenants in Prague
This year opened successfully for Panattoni in the Czech Republic. Panattoni Park Prague Airport – the attest investment of the developer in the Czech Republic lying in the clone neighbourhood of Prague Ruzyne International Airport – new contracts are signed. The tenant of the first building, Ceva Logistics, signed annex to rent out another 6,000 sqm of space. At this point Ceva occupies in total 14,580 sqm, which means the whole of the building nr 1. Its neighbours next door are Cechofracht and Great United Trading, renting the whole available space of the second building, over 13,000 sqm.
The park lies only 20 km away from the center of Prague and it has excellent connections with the city center by public transport means. Panattoni distribution center will be made of 8 buildings amounting to total space of 160,000 sqm. In December 2008 the first building of 15,000 sqm was released for use, and in the beginning of 2009 – the second of 27,700 sqm. They have both been all rented out!
Expansion at Panattoni D5 Logistic Park
The second investment, D5 Logistics Park, located near Pilzno, has attracted a lot of tenant’s interest too. In September 2008 Panattoni completed 2nd phase of the construction stage, which expanded the park for another building of 32,500 sqm. At this point Panattoni can offer 60,000 sqm of warehouse and office space in the Pilsen region. Over half of which has already been rented. The park’s client list includes Assa Abloy, Bock Czech Compressors, Burr Oak Tool and Lear Corporation Electrical and Electronics. The tenant of the first building, Assa Abloy, occupying a space of 7,600 sqm, has extended its facilities there by another 2,700 sqm.
Panattoni in the Czech Republic
Panattoni Europe has been present in the Czech market from 2005. Last year the company expanded its structure after Pavel Sovicka took over the management, also the company market growth accelerated. In 2008 Panattoni built 75,000 sqm new warehouse and office space in the Czech Republic, 50% of which has already been leased. The new investments of the developer are located in the regions generating the greatest market demand. Last year Czech demand for new space reached 574,015 sqm. The tenants’ interest focused on the locations near the capital city, Pilsen and Brno.
