Perfect location of the new Park
The new distribution center, Panattoni Park Kraków, of 17,000 sqm was set up in Skawina, south-west from Cracow. The investment completed in December 2008 was realized in eight months. The Park is situated close to the crossing of A4 highway with Route nbr.44 running in the direction of Oswiecim. The center has very advantageous road connections, lying only 15 km away from Cracow’s center; it has a direct access to international roads, train lines and convenient connection with Balice international airport, lying only 15 km away. The near-by highway, Cracow’s circular route (connecting high-speed traffic flowing from Cracow to Zakopane with the Cracow - Katowice highway) enables a very efficient transportation to Silesia, Wroclaw and Germany. Moreover, a beneficial location near the Silesian agglomeration and the southern border, as well as big volume consumers market of the capital of Malopolskie Region make Panattoni Park Kraków an ideal spot for a domestic or international distribution center.
Pionieer in Malopolska
Panattoni Park Kraków is the very first investment of the developer in Malopolska. Thanks to the American investor, the warehousing resources in the area of Cracow (constantly 18,000 sqm from 2006) have doubled in size. At the same time Panattoni has realized its project in the Cracow area as the sector’s pioneer. Thanks to the excellent location the commercialization of the park in Cracow developed quite rapidly. Berner Polska, the first tenant in the park, leased over 3,000 sqm of space still during the construction works in progress. The new contracts with Znak, OSG and DSV Road confirm the demand for modern commercial space in the region. Still other new contracts are being negotiated now.
