The figures only confirmed that the decision was right. Last year Panattoni built 75,000 sqm in the Czech Republic, out of which over 50 % has already been leased.

New Tenants in Prague
Also Panattoni Park Prague Airport – the latest developer’s investment in the Czech Republic, situated in a close neighborhood of the Prague Ruzyne international airport, attracts new tenants. After a logistics giant, Ceva Logistics, the Czech logistics operator – Cechofracht – decided to move from the buildings occupied in Rudna to the suburbs of Prague. Cechofracht will occupy 8,500 sqm of warehouse space and about 900 sqm of office space, where the company will open its „show room” designed for one of its clients, representing the clothing sector.– We have chosen Panattoni’s offer due to the park’s advantageous location, which our clients prefer. In addition we still stay in the area of Prague-west, where we have already had employments. Some members of our staff will join the company from the old warehouse in Rudná to this new location – said Jaroslav Janovsky, the director of logistic division in Cechofracht. -The decision of Cechofracht was supported also by very favourable terms of the transaction and in addition possibility to accomodate the facility in a short time frame - added Martin Sumera of DTZ, in charge of leasing industrial space, who mediated the transaction on the landlord side. The park is only 20 kilometers away from the center of Prague and has an excellent communication with the city center via public means of transportation. Panattoni distribution center will consist of 8 buildings of total space 160,000 sqm. At the moment 27,700 sqm is under construction. In December 2008 the first building of 15,000 sqm will be released to users.
