Panattoni Europe is proud to announce the further expansion of it’s flagship investment, Panattoni Park Prague Airport, in the Czech Republic. The new client, GME, will occupy space in building 8. Construction will start in June 2010. The facility will serve as a distribution center for the Czech Republic. The project is a build-to-suit transaction including a land sale to the customer. Currently, the Panattoni Park Prague-Airport consists of 3 buildings totaling 50,000 square meters of warehouse space. Upon complettion, the park will comprises of 8 buildings encompassing 160,000 square meters in total.

New roundabout in Dobrovíz
In addition to the build-to-suit transaction, Panattoni announced construction of a new roundabout at the park. Zbynek Laube, Head of Development commented, "At the end of 2009, we obtained the official permit for the construction of the roundabout, which will become the central access point to the park. The new infrastructure will significantly improve the park’s accessibility from the R6 motorway and together with the existing road will form the Dobrovíz bypass."

The new infrastructure investment will become an important part of the Central Bohemian regional road network and is fully financed by Panattoni. The time frame for completion of construction is the end of June 2010.

Panattoni Park Prague-Airport
The 40-ha area is situated in the close proximity to the international airport, Prague Ruzyne, by the R6 motorway exit (Prague – Karlovy Vary), connected with the trans-European route E48 in Germany. The park lies only 20 km away from the center of Prague and is well connected with the city center by public transport.

The major tenants of the park are logistics services giant, Ceva Logistics, Czech logistics operator, Cechofracht, Domo Service, Time Out and Stokvis Tapes. Panattoni Park Prague-Airport is 95% leased.
