Panattoni Acquires Site in Santa Fe Springs, CA to Develop 328,000 Square Foot Speculative Building

Santa Fe Springs, CA–Panattoni Development Company has purchased a 15.85 acre site in Santa Fe Springs, CA. According to Mark Payne, Partner, the developer will construct a 328,400 square foot cross-dock distribution facility on the parcel, on a “spec” basis.

Tim Cronin and Don Smith of Lee & Associates represented the seller in the purchase.

Demolition of 3 existing buildings, consisting of 211,000 square feet, began in June. Completion of the new building, located at 11688 Greenstone Avenue, is expected by March of 2013.

The site has direct access to four major freeways (5, 605, 91 and 105). Features of the building include 32’ clear height, ESFR sprinkler system, 130’ concrete truck courts, 66 dock positions, and a fenced and secured truck court/yard area with an additional 2 acres of land.

Panattoni Construction, Inc. is the General Contractor on this project. HPA is the architect.
