Four New Industrial Buildings Planned in Mt. Juliet, Medline Industries to Take One

Wednesday, August 16th 2017

Two industrial buildings are currently under construction in Mt. Juliet that has one user confirmed with two larger warehouses also planned.

Panattoni Development Co. is developing the buildings as part of its Beckwith Farms industrial park in Mt. Juliet according to officials.

Medline Industries, a medical supply manufacturer and supplier, will move into an estimated 250,000 square foot building being built, which will will include about 50 jobs to start.

An approximate 530,000 square foot building is also under construction next to Medline’s future home, said Hayne Hamilton of Panattoni Development Co.

And clearing and grading for a 450,000 square foot building and a 1 million square foot building in Beckwith Farms is scheduled to start in October, Hamilton said. No tenants have been announced.

Medline Industries plans to open in its medical grade distribution center by next summer, spokeswoman Stacy Rubenstein said.

Medline has four other distribution centers within a few hours or less of Nashville, but the company sought a facility closer to area customers.

“It is still too early to project job growth, but I can tell you that Medline is dedicated to creating job opportunities in the Mt. Juliet community,” Rubenstein said. “That figure will be based largely around customer demand.”

Mt. Juliet Mayor Ed Hagerty anticipates Medline Industries to be “a good corporate partner,” for the city, he said.
