REDDING, Calif. – Amazon broke ground on a new delivery station in Redding’s Stillwater Business Park on Wednesday, Aug. 13, 2025.

The project represents a major investment in local jobs and infrastructure, aiming to expand logistics in Northern California.

The facility, set to be operational in 2026, will act as a last-mile delivery station. It will create more than 100 full-time and part-time jobs, in addition to supporting other regional roles through local delivery partners and business contracts.

“We’re proud to welcome Amazon to Stillwater Business Park. The project is an investment, not just in land and infrastructure, but in our people and our future,” said Redding City Mayor Jack Munns.

The station will feature sustainable building practices and state-of-the-art technology, with a focus on efficient traffic design.

“This project reflects years of coordinated effort to bring major investment to the North State,” said Rebecca Baer, President of Shasta EDC. “Amazon’s presence here opens the door for additional economic development and sends a clear message: Redding is open for business and ready to grow.”
